Poco F5 comes with GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G network technology, which means it can work with various network bands and provide fast internet connectivity. It supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G bands, including SA/NSA. The device offers HSPA, LTE-A (CA), and 5G speeds.

Poco F5 was announced on May 09, 2023, and is expected to be released in May 2023.

BODY

In terms of dimensions, it measures 161.1 x 75 x 7.9 mm (6.34 x 2.95 x 0.31 in) and weighs 181 g (6.38 oz). It has a dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) slot and is IP53-rated dust and splash-resistant.

DISPLAY

The device comes with an AMOLED display that supports 68B colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 6.67 inches and has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

PLATFORM

The phone runs on Android 13, and MIUI 14 for POCO, and is powered by a Qualcomm SM7475-AB Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset. The CPU is an octa-core (1×2.91 GHz Cortex-A710 & 3×2.49 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A510), while the GPU is Adreno 725. It comes with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB or 12GB of RAM, depending on the variant.

CAMERA

The device has a triple camera setup at the back, including a 64 MP, f/1.8 primary camera, an 8 MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP, f/2.4 macro camera. It comes with features like LED flash, HDR, and panorama, and can shoot 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps videos with gyro-EIS. The front-facing camera is a 16 MP, f/2.5, wide sensor that can record 1080p@30/60fps videos.

SOUND

The phone has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and supports 24-bit/192kHz audio. It comes with various connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.3, A2DP, LE, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NFC, and an infrared port. It has sensors like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

BATTERY

The device is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging, PD3, and QC4. The company claims that it can charge up to 100% in just 46 minutes.
