Satish Kaushik is an Indian film director, producer, and actor who has worked in Bollywood and other film industries in India. He started his career as an assistant director to Shekhar Kapoor and later became an actor.

Satish Kaushik made his acting debut in the film “Masoom” (1983) as a child artist. He then appeared in small roles in several films such as “Ram Teri Ganga Maili” (1985), “Mr. India” (1987), and “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja” (1993).

However, Satish Kaushik rose to fame with his portrayal of the character “Calendar” in the blockbuster film “Mr. India” (1987). He then went on to act in several successful films such as “Saajan Chale Sasural” (1996), “Judwaa” (1997), “Deewana Mastana” (1997), “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain” (1999), “Haseena Maan Jayegi” (1999), “Pardesi Babu” (1998), and “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai” (2001), among others.

Apart from acting, Satish Kaushik has also directed and produced several films. He made his directorial debut with the film “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja” (1993) and has since directed films such as “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain” (1999), “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai” (2001), “Tere Naam” (2003), “Shaadi Se Pehle” (2006), and “Milenge Milenge” (2010), among others.

Satish Kaushik has won several awards for his contribution to Indian cinema, including the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian for his performance in the film “Ram Lakhan” (1989). He has also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi as a producer for the film “Tere Naam” (2003).
